Lugano & Lucerne Switzerland

We finished our trip in Switzerland. It was beautiful. We stopped in Lugano for a few hours. There is a gorgeous lake called Lake Lugano. We wanted to rent a boat or something but we were only there a few hours and didn't have time. Then we went to Lucerne. We were all so beat that when it came time to go on the guided tour, we just wanted to sleep. We made our way through though because I didn't want to miss out on something cool. Our tour guide took us to the lion that was carved in to the wall. I don't remember the significance of it, but it was pretty cool. There is also this bridge in the middle of town going over the river. It was really pretty. The choir sang a song there. There were people walking by that stopped and got their video camera's out and recorded the whole concert. We got there on Saturday and just shopped for a bit. I got a Swiss watch and its probably one of my favorite souvenirs I got. We also found this cool shopping district under the streets in the train station. It was a great idea! Dustin had a concert in the cathedral there and also sang in mass. I was so excited because it was the last mass we had to attend. This church was my favorite of the trip though. It was really bright inside. We got to attend an LDS church meeting here too. The Relief Society president told us that most converts over there stay active for about a year. Sunday is their only "family day". The kids go to school on Saturday, so if they want to do anything together as a family, it has to be on Sunday. I loved Europe and can't wait to go back and see more of it!
