Since I had so much time to roam Germany on my own, I decided to go see the Frankfurt temple and do a session. It's in a city called Friedrichsdorf. Let's just say it was a journey getting there but so worth it!! It took a 2 hour subway ride to get to the city. Then it was about a mile-ish walk or so is all. It turned out to be a pretty expensive trip though. Apparently, if you don't have the right ticket, it's a 40 Euro fine! They don't always check, but I got checked. I tried playing the stupid American card but they didn't buy it. I had to pay up! The lame thing was, I was just warned the night before by one of Dustin's co-workers and to always make sure we had the right ticket. That alone put a bit of a damper on my day. The session itself was amazing. The people there were all so sweet. I met a girl who had just taken her endowments out in January. Her testimony was so strong. She was there doing session after session, all week long. There was an older lady who was just so happy. There was an older man who kept falling asleep. Someone would have to tap him on the shoulder every few minutes so he didn't miss anything. One lady tried speaking English the best she could for me but finally just held up the card for me to read while she spoke French. (It was a french session.) There were several temple workers that spoke English and were so excited to talk to me about the states and where I was from. It was a great experience and I'm glad I didn't skip it, like I almost did. A few days later, we stopped by there again so Dustin and the other people we were with could see it. It's always so cool seeing the temple when you're on vacation and even better when you're in another country. It feels like home and that you're not alone in the strange place.

The first day I went was such a nice day. But the 2nd time was windy and cold!

How exciting! That's amazing that you were able to go to Germany and have all of those awesome experiences. What a spiritual experience too to see the Temple and be able to do a session somewhere where it's not taken for granted! Very cool
How neat when did you go to Germany?
Lady! I must say I am impressed. Trying to find a Temple in a different country. You are amazing! It sounds like a really neat experience. Good for you :)
That is so awesome! You are brave for finding it and I'm glad you had fun. Sorry about the fine though, that's a bummer...
That's really neat! I'm really jealous. I'm glad it was such a great experience besides the whole fine thing.
I am so glad you were able to go with Dustin. You were adventurous to travel to the temple. I just thought it would be within a close distance. It was neat you were able to go. It was a good spiritual experience to go to the Lords house and do a session.
