PGP Party

Dustin's company Christmas party was a lot of fun. He has worked with one of the VP's of the company for years and is pretty close to him. Dustin told him that we were going to get engaged shorty so he had a pretty good time with it. He got some of Dustin's good friends in on the joke as well. When we got there, Mark was taking every body's picture with their dates. They usually don't have assigned seating but Mike decided to set up some extra decorations for our seats. It had a nice floral arrangement, flower petals spread all over, veils on the back of our chair and complete with a garter belt. It was really funny. We both knew that wasn't the end of it though. For the entertainment they hired The Dueling Piano guys. They played just a bunch of different requested songs. A few people got up and danced for a couple songs, others liked to just listen and enjoy the show. In the middle of the program, they started playing the song, THE CHAPEL OF LOVE. I didn't clue in until they called us and some of Dustin's really good friends who presented Dustin with a "temporary" ring to give to me. It was about a 5 carat green plastic gem stone. His friends sat down and we stayed up to finish the song. I told Dustin he gets to take ballroom dance classes with me because he's not a dancer so much. Anyone that knows me knows that I Love dancing. It was a fun night though. I wore the temporary ring a few times to tell people the story, but it was a little over the top.
