It's all about me!

Yesterday was my 27th birthday! I can't believe I'm really that old. I know some of you are thinking, 'Oh, to be 27 again.' I'm not complaining, its a good age but it sounds a lot older than 26. That is because at 26 your considered to be in your mid-20's. 27 is the start of the late 20's. Even though you get older, I LOVE LOVE LOVE birthdays! (As I said in my previous post.) I never understand those people that don't like to do much for their birthday. It's a great excuse to celebrate and just together with friends or spend time with loved one. And of course, have cake!!!

Dustin was awesome and planned such a great day for me. I was definitely spoiled! He told his boss that he would be in a little late and my boss wasn't coming in til the afternoon. When we woke up, Dustin immediately told me to relax in bed a little while longer while he made me breakfast in bed - we stole the tradition from Tricia & Ben :). Then it was present time. We brought in all my presents for me. They had been set up on the kitchen table the night before to taunt me. He had a bag full of smaller things that I was to start with. I was shocked to find a U of U t-shirt in one of them. I was kind of expecting a Y shirt after that. I was shocked that he could spend money on something that says Utah on it. He also got me a cute little stuffed puppy dog - hoping I will quit bothering him to get one. Now I will just start asking for a really puppy. He also got Looney Toones on DVD and Lady in the Water - the 2nd movie is more for him. He also gave me a book that Ive been wanting for a little while and a cable to connect our camcorder to our computer. Those were just the little things. Then he had a big box that he wanted me to save for last. When i got to it, I was SO happy!
It was a pink laptop!!
My old one was so old and ghetto. The other day, it took me all night to put my music on a jump drive. I transferred the music to the new lappy yesterday, it took a full 30 seconds! Its great! I love living the fast life! lol

After work, I met Dustin at his office. We both got in late and left early. We went to an early dinner at Chili's and enjoyed the Molten Chocolate cake. If you haven't had that, it's SO good and I highly recommend it. On the way to dinner Dustin finally told me what we were doing. We went to Hale Center Theater and saw Big, the musical. I only got a picure of the first set because you aren't allowed to take pictures during the performance. It was a great show and was based off the movie, complete with the trampoline in his apartment. That was always my favorite part of the movie.

All in all it was a great birthday. There are still more celebrations to come as well. My family makes fun of me because I have claimed the whole month as mine.
