26th Birthday

I have the best boyfriend ever! He is the sweetest boy in the whole world. I am so lucky to have him in my life. He spoiled me rotten on my birthday. The whole day was a surprise. We actually celebrated my birthday the day before because it landed on Sunday this year. It was a great day! He picked me up about 1130 or so and surprised me the sweetest Cholocate Covered Strawberry Roses! If anyone needs any ideas for the women in their lives, I would totally recommend these! I've been telling him for quite some time that I want a kitten. My roommates are alergic, so it would have to live at his house though. He, of course, refuses. But he thought he was so funny and got me a card with a kitty on the front. On the inside he said, "Now you can say I got you a kitty for your birthday!"

After he picked me up, we went to Snowbird to ride the Alpine slide, the zip line and all of the above. We just spent the whole day there.

The first thing we did was went down the alpine slide. We are both extremely competitive... I dont know how many times I have been on the slide and I have never fallen. Id heard horror stories, but didnt think it was really possible. Well this time, I proved myself wrong! We were racing, almost to the bottom, both flying around a corner and I ate it bad!! It would have been a close race, but I would have won, of course.

We went on the Zip line, which really, not that great. Its definitely a one time thing, not something I would recommend. After that, we took a break and had some lunch at Oktoberfest. They had some long horns players in there playing and so yodelers, it was great fun.

We rode the tram up to the top of the mountain. It was a little hazy up there and a little on the cooler side. But it was still so beautiful being up there.

As one part of my birthday presents, we went shopping at the shops at Oktoberfest. I also had fun dressing Dustin up in silly hats. I kind of want to go back up and get one of these for him. They were a lot of fun. He got me a really pretty necklace and earings and a fleece jacket up there. They are both really nice.

It was a great day! He spoiled me too much. I'm grateful to have him in my life. On my birthday, we went to my parents for dinner. It was a great dinner. My mom made her amazing lasagne, which she hasnt made for years. My whole family was there, expect for Polli, Who we all miss, but shes coming in town next week to seal baby katie to her family. It was a great birthday! Thanks too all that came and celebrated with me!
